Why is it important to enlighten everyone on November 5th:

There are many reasons why participating in this event is important for you and the Type 1 diabetes community.

• Increased government funding for a cure when our local and national lawmakers are enlightened.
• Better health insurance coverage and medical supply coverage when HMO executives are enlightened.
• Greater urgency to find a cure and support when the media is enlightened.
• More compassion and understanding when the community is enlightened.
• Stronger support within our schools when principals, teachers and nurses are enlightened.
• A safer environment for our kids when friends and neighbors are enlightened.
• A cure will be even closer when every household in the Nation is enlightened & donates $5 to $10 to research for a cure!
